Location Location Location

I don't believe I have included the location of my bee yards.

I currently have 1 yard @ 512 Eggleton Rd Stirling Ontario and a second yard with only a few colonies on Barrett road North of the village of Stirling.

This year the early honey was sweet and floral the summer honey very light with notes of basswood linden honey as well as clover and alfalfa with I am sure a little nectar from many other local blooms. Honey production in the hives was slow through August and I don't seem to get a good golden rod flow so the fall honey although a little darker has a beautiful flavor blend of mid and late summer blooms.

Creamed Honey so far is a success.

I have established a good seed for inducing fine granulation and 1 week of mixing and 1 week at about 6C refrigerator temp seems to set it up nicely very minimal aeration and a smooth creamy texture. A visit to the fridge for a day will help thicken it if it gets a bit thin in a warm kitchen.
